JAGUAR DAYS IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL

The Ottawa Jaguar Club is
Hosting a Jaguars in The Nations Capital day to permit club members and
others with an interest in preserving the marque of their car to show
them off at a club gathering at the Rockcliffe Airfield.
There will be something for everyone including airplane rides,
attendance of an aircraft from Vintage Wings (possibly an antique
warbird) and friendly competition in the judging of your car.
Competition will range from the highest level of judging for scores to
be entered in the Jaguar Clubs of North America to the peoples choice
award for the car they love the best. Other clubs have been invited to
come and share in enthusiasts class where owners can show off their
cars without feeling the pressure of officaldom still with the chance
to win a prize.
Entry Fees are $30.00 for the first car in a family and $15.00 for each
succeeding cars for entry into the JCNA official judging. Entry to
enthuisiast class is $10.00. All entrants are offered an opportunity to
stay and share in a light stand-up supper while prizes are awarded.
Events start in the morning with the arrival of cars.
All cars that wish
to be entered must be present by 11:00 am
Cloths are down at 12:00 pm
Judging will commence at 1:00 pm
Prize giving will
likely be at 3:30 or 4:00 depending on entries

complete the form soon (like now) and mail it to
the registrar whose address is on the form. This will allow us to
determine how many cars and people are coming- essential for food
orders, parking space etc

Hotel: We recommend the Chimo Inn at 613-744-1060. No arrangements to
block book rooms have been made. See the map below. If you are coming
from out of town and will be staying at the Chimo let us know and we
will join you for dinner . There will be no special events on Friday
night.
